Should I take Personal Loan or not for my wedding?

Should I take Personal Loan or not for my wedding?

Due to the increasing cost of wedding vendors on top of the short period of time to raise enough money to cover the expenses, many couples opted to personal loan or instalment plan. These two methods are deemed as among the best alternatives and solutions by the couple. This scenario leads to the increasing demand of personal loans nowadays.

It is similar to buying a new smart phone that you desire with all the specs that you want. If you can’t afford to pay lump sum, you still can own it via instalment plan offered by the telco company.

Personally, I wouldn’t recommend applying for instalment plan longer than 3 years as there is a long list of expenses awaiting after wedding.
For instance purchasing a house or family planning (pre and post pregnancy does not come cheap- scheduled mother and baby checkup, supplements, cost of giving birth, baby’s items, expenses during confinement period, etc).
It would be best if you could settle the instalment plan within a year.
